EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that treats a wide range of people. I provide EMDR therapy to adults who have been negatively impacted by their childhood and/or adulthood trauma.
You may benefit from EMDR therapy if:
Other forms of therapy have yet to actually work in treating the trauma you’ve experienced.
You haven’t found the right space to process and healthily grieve the trauma you have faced.
You find yourself heavily impacted by the trauma you’ve experienced in your childhood and/or adulthood.
Is EMDR the right fit for me?
In EMDR Therapy, I guide the client to simultaneously explore one traumatic memory at a time while engaging with bilateral stimulation tools. Bilateral stimulation involves visual, auditory, and/or tactile stimuli, which is known to activate neuroplasticity in the brain, promoting the brain’s natural ability to rewire itself.
If you are interested in EMDR, please feel reach out to me and I can assess in our first few sessions to see if it’s appropriate to start!
